Leadership Lecture by Professor V.S. Cherednichenko for First-Year Students of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology: “Meteorology and Economics – The Union of Nature and Progress”

On September 2, 2025, in the Grand Assembly Hall of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a leadership lecture was held as part of the first-year student orientation program. The lecture, delivered by a professor of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, was titled “Meteorology and Economics: The Union of Nature and Progress.”

In his address, the professor emphasized the importance of meteorological knowledge for national economic development, highlighted the role of climate science in sustainable resource management, and stressed the need for resilience in the face of global climate change.
