KazNU Alumni Reunion: 50 Years Later

A heartfelt alumni reunion took place at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, bringing together graduates who completed their studies 50 years ago. For many of them, returning to their alma mater was a journey back to their student days – to a time of youth, inspiration, and great hopes.

Graduates of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics gathered, including renowned scholars and educators who have made significant contributions to science and education. Among them were Kanguzhin Baltabek Esmatovich, as well as Kairat Mynbayev, Shmygaleva Tatiana Aleksandrovna, Estaeva Galiya Zhidelbayevna, and other distinguished alumni. Their names are well known in the academic community and among students who continue their legacy.

The alumni fondly remembered their professors, shared stories from their student life, and discussed each other’s achievements over the past decades. They emphasized that KazNU was not only the starting point of their professional careers but also a true school of life that gifted them loyal friends and colleagues.
