First-year students’ excursion to the Akhmet Baitursynov Museum

On the occasion of the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan, first-year students of the Department of Chinese studies visited the Akhmet Baitursynov Museum. The excursion was organized with the participation of curators-advisors Mukatay K. and Mettibaeva S., as well as the Deputy Head of the Department for Academic and Methodological Work, Kerimbayev E.A.

During the visit, students learned about the life and creative legacy of Akhmet Baitursynov — an outstanding scholar, educator, public figure, and reformer of Kazakh writing. Special attention was given to his role in the development of the Kazakh language, education, and national identity.

The excursion became an important event for the students, allowing them to better appreciate the value of their native language and cultural heritage. Such activities help foster respect for national history among young people and strengthen the spiritual values that form the foundation of civic identity.
