“Language is The Pillar of Friendship”

On September 5, 2025, under the guidance of the lecturers of the Department of Far Eastern Studies — M.T. Shadaeva, A.M. Nurelova, T. Ninomiya, G.B. Tazabekova, and L.D. Nursseitova — a ceremonial farewell evening was held for students from Japan. During the event, certificates were solemnly awarded to the Japanese students who had successfully completed the Kazakh language course.The certificates were awarded to Tsukuba University students - Kubo Yuichiro, Ma Yurui, and Matsuda Naoya.

In honor of this event, second-year students Abdigali Ayazhan and Dossekey Meirbek organized a festive program, during which first-year students presented concert performances. The event became a wonderful opportunity for Japanese students and students of the Department of Japanese Studies to get to know each other better and strengthen their friendship.

The first performance of the program was given by 1-year student Assiltay Madina, who played the famous kui “Balbyrauyn” on the dombra, allowing the guests from Japan to experience the richness and beauty of Kazakh music. The second performance featured 1-year students specializing in Foreign Philology, Eleubai Abilai, Sadykova Ayim, and Ainurbekov Rasul, who sang the famous kazakh song “Bärinen de sen sulū”.

In conclusion, this event became an important step in strengthening the friendship between the youth of Kazakhstan and Japan, as well as in developing cultural ties between the two countries.
