The President's Address - a Guide for the Future Development of Education and Science

On September 8, students and teachers of the Far East Department took part in listening to the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev to the people of the country.
In his address, the President emphasized the relevance of economic development issues in a rapidly changing world, where it is important to be prepared for new challenges and transformations. Particular attention was paid to the sphere of education and science as key areas of sustainable development of the country.
The President noted the need to expand research activities, strengthen the potential of domestic universities, as well as their openness to international cooperation. He emphasized that in order to achieve national goals, it is important to involve every citizen in the process of implementing state initiatives.
Students and teachers of the Far East Department listened carefully to the Address and discussed its most significant provisions concerning the future of education and scientific activities.
