On September 17, 2025, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Philology, Department of Turkology and Language Theory, the 1st-year doctoral students of “8D02303 – Linguistics” major organized a charity event.
The initiative was held within the framework of one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 2 “Zero Hunger.” Its main purpose was to support low-income families while fostering social responsibility and kindness in society.
During the event, the doctoral students provided assistance to socially vulnerable families of the city by delivering essential food supplies, thereby helping to meet some of their daily needs.
The charity event “Food Bank,” organized under the “Zero Hunger” goal, not only contributed to alleviating food shortages among disadvantaged families but also aimed to instill values of humanity and social responsibility in the younger generation.
