First-Year Students of the Department of Chinese Studies Took Part in a University-Wide Cleanup Day

On September 20, 2025, the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a university-wide cleanup event as part of the sustainable development project “Conservation of Terrestrial Ecosystems”, held under the motto “Cleanliness is the Key to Health”. The initiative was dedicated to City Day.

First-year students of the Department of Chinese Studies, together with their curators Mukatay K. and Mettibaeva S., as well as Deputy Head of the Department for Academic and Educational Work, Yerzhan Kerimbayev, actively participated in the cleanup. The participants tidied up the area around the faculty building, collecting leaves and litter, and improving the surrounding environment.

The event took place in a friendly and energetic atmosphere, becoming the contribution of the Department of Chinese Studies to the beautification of the university and the city.
