On September 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., a university-wide cleanup day was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation). Students of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Faculty of Geography and Nature Management, took an active part in this good initiative by carrying out cleaning work on the university grounds.
The purpose of the cleanup was to maintain environmental cleanliness, foster care for nature, and promote eco-culture among young people.
