Round table on yhe topic: "Gender equality: equality of voices"

On September 24, 2025, within the framework of “SDG 5. Gender Equality” the curator-educator Kanashayeva G. A.  with students of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi KazNU  held a round table didcussion  on  the topic: ‘Gender Equality: Equality of Voice" in  A. Kaidarov Room. During the event, the status of women in positions of power in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Europe, and the United States was discussed and comparatively analyzed. According to data from the Council on Foreign Relations, the level of political representation and participation of women in governance and politics continues to grow. Kazakhstan’s index in this area is at an average level, hile the highest figure — 50% — is observed in Europe.  The participants of the round table shared their views on gender policy and expressed their opinions on equality between men and women.
