“SDG 4. The Role of Quality Education in Building a Knowledge Society”

On September 22, 2025, at 15:00,  the senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation G.K. Dairabekova held an event on the topic: “SDG 4. The Role of Quality Education in Building a Knowledge Society”  with  the 4th-year students majoring in  6B02303 – Foreign Philology (Western Languages).  The event took place in  Room  218 of  the International Educational Corporation (IEC).

During the discussion,  the students emphasized the importance of nurturing an educated generation and highlighted how quality education contributes to the country’s economic growth. They also shared their reflections on the issue of digitalization raised in the Address of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. In his Address, the President defined the state’s core mission as ensuring socio-economic development and national security. This message is of high relevance today, since sustainable development and social harmony are the foundation of a strong future. As President Tokayev underlined, Kazakhstan’s main values are stability and unity. To achieve these goals, the government will focus on diversifying the economy, advancing science and education, introducing new technologies, and supporting the younger generation. The Address stands as a strategic guideline for the future of the nation.
