A visit to Akhmet Baitursynov museum

On September 22, Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of Languages of the Peoples of Kazakhstan. This holiday was established with the aim of fostering love and respect for one's native language, for one's country and to expand knowledge about languages. A visit to Akhmet Baitursynov museum who was one of the founders of Kazakh linguistics and literary studies and developed the foundations of national linguistics and scientific terminology, was timed to coincide with this date. During the classes, the first-year students of the Faculty of International Relations worked on the materials of "On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan” law and also discussed the importance of world languages as part of a group project, since the functions of these languages cover international spheres. – diplomacy, world trade, and global communication systems are accepted as the "working languages" of the United Nations and other international organizations.
