Festive Concert in Honor of World Tourism Day

On September 25, students of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism organized a festive concert dedicated to World Tourism Day.

The event brought together faculty members, students, alumni, and invited guests. The concert was held under the theme “Timeless Tour” and presented the audience with images of tourism from past centuries. In addition, students performed musical and dance pieces showcasing the cultures of various countries and peoples.

In 2025, World Tourism Day is celebrated under the slogan “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation.” This motto highlights the need to transition to a more responsible model of tourism that benefits local communities, preserves nature and cultural heritage, and helps reduce the carbon footprint of travel.

We believe that this event will spark greater interest in tourism among young people and strengthen the bonds of friendship between students of different courses.
