Students and Doctoral Candidates of the Recreational geography and Tourism department participated in the International Conference in Uzbekistan

On September 27, 2025, students and doctoral candidates of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism participated in the International Scientific-Practical Conference on “Prospects for the Development of Sustainable Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Uzbekistan: Challenges and Solutions”, held at Mamun University (Urgench City, Khorezm Region, Uzbekistan).

During the conference, participants discussed key issues of sustainable tourism development, the interaction between education and tourism, the role of Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage in the Third Renaissance, as well as prospects for the effective use of historical and cultural sites.

The organization of the trip for students and doctoral candidates was sponsored by the host institution within the framework of the Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation signed last year.

Participation in this international forum became an important step for strengthening scientific ties, expanding academic collaboration, and supporting the professional growth of future specialists in tourism and hospitality.
