Leadership Lecture on Contemporary Issues of Oriental Studies Held at Al-Farabi KazNU

On October 1, 2025, in celebration of the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a leadership lecture delivered by Professor Nurzhamal Abdirazakkyzy Aldabek, Doctor of Historical Sciences and professor of the Department of Chinese Studies.

In her lecture titled “Current Issues in Oriental Education and Scholarship”, the professor introduced undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students to the specific features of their chosen field of study, discussed the historical development of Oriental studies in Kazakhstan, and analyzed its present condition.

The event not only provided students with professional guidance but also emphasized the importance of scholarly research in Oriental studies, inspiring future specialists to pursue new milestones in academia.
