The requirements for IT specialists will increase

A session dedicated to the address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of the country and the prospects for the development of artificial intelligence was held at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The event, organized by the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, brought together IT specialists, scientists, faculty and students.

The session opened with a speech by the Dean of the Faculty, Timur Imankulov, who noted the strategic importance of the President's address and emphasized the university's role in training personnel for the digital economy.

Edil Nurakhov, Senior Researcher at the Information and High-Performance Technologies Research Institute, presented a report on "Strategic directions of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025". The scientist focused on the need to introduce digitalization, innovation and AI technologies in all areas.

Also, the report "Development of artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan: challenges and opportunities" was delivered by Acting Associate Professor Zholdas Buribayev. He paid special attention to the integration of AI into education and science, international cooperation and ethical aspects of technology use.

During the round table, the participants discussed the increased requirements for IT specialists, ideas and proposals for the development of AI, and also got acquainted with the research initiatives of young scientists.

Following the results of the session, proposals were developed for the further development of scientific and educational projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
