10th International Scientific and Methodological Conference: Mathematical Modeling and Information Technologies in Education and Science

From October 1 to 3, 2025, the 10th International Scientific and Methodological Conference “Mathematical Modeling and Information Technologies in Education and Science” was held in Almaty. The Head of the Department of Computational Sciences and Statistics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, PhD, Associate Professor A.N. Temirbekov, delivered a presentation on the topic: “Development of a predictive-search geographic information system for identifying ore-prospective objects using artificial intelligence methods.”

 

The conference was dedicated to the 40th anniversary of school informatics and the 80th anniversary of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor E.I. Bidaybekov.

 

🌍 The event addressed mathematical modeling, the use of information technologies in education and science, the development of the digital education system, and modern methodological practices.

 

Domestic and international scientists participated in the conference, exchanging views on innovative trends in education and science.

The 10th International Scientific and Methodological Conference “Mathematical Modeling and Information Technologies in Education and Science” was aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

 

SDG 4 “Quality Education” – the conference contributed to the development of students’ competencies in the field of innovative technologies;

SDG 9 “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure” – discussions focused on artificial intelligence research and application, aimed at promoting innovations in science and industry;

SDG 17 “Partnerships for the Goals” – created opportunities for strengthening international cooperation between the university and its alumni.
