Scientific Visit of Rashid Kerimbayev to Shanghai University

From September 22 to 27, 2025, Dr. Rashid Kerimbayev, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, visited Shanghai University (School of Management, China) on a scientific mission.
During the visit, Dr. Kerimbayev participated in an international seminar organized by the School of Management, presenting his research on regional inequality, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He held consultations with Professor Shan Juan and other scholars, discussing issues of economic behavior, brand perception, and sustainable consumption.
The trip was conducted within the framework of research project No. AP19679799, “Development of a Modified Methodology for Assessing Spatial Growth Factors and Overcoming Regional Disparities.” The visit strengthened academic ties and enhanced cooperation between researchers from Kazakhstan and China.
This work contributes to the implementation of the principles of sustainable development, primarily towards achieving the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4 — Quality Education, SDG 9 — Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, SDG 10 — Reduced Inequalities, SDG 17 — Partnerships for the Goals.
