Arrival of Professor Ermek Nurkhaidarov under the Fulbright Program

In October 2025, the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics welcomed Professor Ermek Nurkhaidarov from Pennsylvania State University (USA) as part of the prestigious Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program.

Throughout the academic year, Professor Nurkhaidarov will teach undergraduate and master’s courses, share his professional expertise, and contribute to strengthening academic cooperation between universities.

The Fulbright Program is one of the world’s most respected international exchange initiatives aimed at fostering mutual understanding through education and research. Professor Nurkhaidarov’s work will help enhance the quality of education, promote international collaboration, and expand the global academic partnership between Kazakhstan and the United States.

This work contributes to the implementation of the principles of sustainable development, primarily towards achieving the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 17 — Partnerships for the Goals.
