On October 4, 2025, the teacher of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, G.S. Alimgazy, together with students of the 116th group, visited the Almaty Museum of Arts. The purpose of the event is to promote modern national culture, develop aesthetic taste and expand ideas about the artistic heritage of Central Asia. During the tour, the students got acquainted with the concept of the new museum, which is a modern platform for studying and presenting the art of Kazakhstan and the entire region. The museum's collection is based on Kenes Smagulov's private collection, which has been formed over three decades and includes more than 700 works of Kazakhstani art. The collection is actively replenished with modern works by artists from Central Asia and neighboring countries, covering a wide range of genres and trends. The visit to the museum aroused great interest among the students, allowing them to delve deeper into the cultural context of the country and the region, and also stimulated discussion of current topics in contemporary art.
