Visiting the museum in the House of Scientists

On September 30, 2025, the curator-adviser of the Russian Philology group of the 1st year students, Abdilda D.M., and the senior lecturer of the department, Seitkaza E.A., together with the students visited the Museum of Rare Books (library and Museum Department of Rare Books, Manuscripts and National Literature of the Central Scientific Library) in the Gylym Ordasy building. The task of the Museum of Rare Books is to use the example of unique publications to show the path that the book has taken from the first manuscripts to modern examples of printing art, to instill love and respect for the book, the most valuable monument of spiritual culture of all times and peoples. Also, the Museum attracts the attention of all book lovers of the city of Almaty as a center for the popularization of national history and book culture.The RSE at the Ghylym Ordasy Nuclear Power Plant carries out scientific research, educational, cultural and educational activities in order to preserve, study and popularize the historical, cultural and scientific heritage of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Gylym Ordasy building is an exceptional masterpiece of architecture, which is one of the unique historical and cultural monuments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is under state protection. There are 4 Museums operating here, which are full members of the National Committee of ICOM Kazakhstan, as well as the International Organization TURKSOY.
