Guest Lecture on “Prevention of Religious Extremism and Terrorism

On October 6, 2025, a guest lecture on “Prevention of Religious Extremism and Terrorism” was held for first-year students of the educational program *“International Law.”
The event was organized by Assoc. Prof., PhD in Law, A. Zh. Tusupova.
The lecture was delivered by Nurzhan Rakhimberdievich Meimankhozha, Research Fellow at the Center for Religious Studies of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religion of the Scientific Committee of the State Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Master of Religious Studies.
During the lecture, contemporary threats of religious extremism and terrorism, their manifestations in society, and preventive measures were discussed.
The lecture proved highly informative and useful for students:** they gained practical knowledge about mechanisms to counter destructive ideologies, the legal and social aspects of ensuring religious security, and the role of youth in strengthening interfaith harmony and tolerance.
Students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions, and shared their views on issues of spiritual security in the modern world.
Such events contribute to the formation of civic responsibility, legal culture, and strong value orientations among future lawyers, aimed at promoting peace and harmony in society.
