A gastro-diplomatic master class on SDGs was held at the Faculty of International Relations

On October 10, 2025, at the Faculty of International Relations of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a culinary master-class was held from 11:00 to 14:00, organized by the team of the Academic regional resource center for information support about the UN at the Faculty of International Relations of al-Farabi KazNU. The event was aimed at supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on SDG 12 "Responsible consumption and production" and SDG 17 "Partnership for Sustainable Development".
During the master class, the participants got acquainted with the principles of sustainable nutrition and rational use of natural resources, discussed issues of reducing food waste, environmentally friendly attitude to the environment and the importance of joint actions to achieve global goals. Special attention was paid to practical ways to implement the principles of responsible consumption in everyday life.
The event was held in a warm, friendly and informative atmosphere, facilitating the exchange of experiences, ideas and strengthening cooperation between the university, international organizations and representatives of the local community.
The culinary workshop has become an important platform for promoting a culture of sustainable lifestyle and developing partnership initiatives to achieve the Goals of Sustainable Development.
