Partnership for Sustainable Development: Advancing Legal Cooperation between Kazakhstan and China
On October 7, 2025, a meeting was held at the China–Central Asia Law Research Center – China–Kazakhstan Legal Research Center of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The event was attended by Professor G.A. Kuanaliyeva, Doctor of Law and Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Associate Professor G.K. Rasheva, as well as Professor Zhang Guanyao from the School of International Law of Northwest University of Political Science and Law (PRC) and the university’s doctoral student Shaimurat Markhaba.
The meeting was organized within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 17 – “Partnerships for the Goals.”
The initiative aims to strengthen scientific, educational, and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, while fostering regional legal research and exchange of best practices.
