Clean Kazakhstan – A Path to a Bright Future!

On September 20, 2025, a large environmental event — a clean-up day — was held on the campus of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the framework of UN SDG 3. This event was organized as part of the “Clean Kazakhstan” ecological culture development program (2024-2029).
The event saw active participation from the staff of the Department of Customs, Financial, and Environmental Law at the Faculty of Law. In particular, the head of the department, G.A. Kuanalieva, and faculty members A.A. Eskeyev, D.A. Bakirov, B. Kalymbek, A.A. Kudaibergenov, R.T. Bektursyn, I.B. Shapkatova all contributed to the initiative.
Additionally, first-year law students actively participated in the event, working together in their study groups. The care these young students showed for nature and their collective effort brought great joy. Their active role in forming ecological culture is a clear demonstration of the responsibility and patriotism of future lawyers.
The main goal of the clean-up day was not only to improve the university’s surroundings, but also to instill in young people the importance of caring for nature, protecting the environment, and promoting the value of collective work.
Protecting nature is our collective responsibility! Ecological culture should become a life stance for the younger.
