SDG 5: Al-Farabi KazNU Hosts “Beauty Day” Event

On October 10, a special event – “Beauty Day” – was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, organized by the “Sen Sulu” girls’ club under the “Sunkar” student and master’s trade union. The event was dedicated to the implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 5 – Gender Equality.

As part of the celebration, various activities were organized to bring both spiritual and aesthetic joy to the participants. The girls attended masterclasses where they received valuable advice on self-care, beauty, and self-esteem. Professional experts shared tips accompanied by meaningful discussions emphasizing not only outer beauty but also the importance of inner harmony.

Through this event, the “Sen Sulu” club aimed to promote the idea of self-love and appreciation of every girl’s unique natural beauty. The initiative also sought to highlight the important role of women in society and foster their personal and professional growth.

“Beauty Day” became not only a celebration of appearance but also a tribute to the deeper essence of womanhood – her inner world, freedom, and intrinsic worth. The event left a lasting impression and was met with sincere appreciation from all participants.
