A Cultural Visit to the Theatre is A Step Toward Nurturing Spiritual Values
On October 11, 2025, the first-year students of the Turkology and Two Foreign Languages major at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited Gabita Musrepov State Academic Youth and Children’s Theatre under the guidance of group advisors Ashirkulov K.B. and Akzhigitova A.K.
The visit was organized within the framework of the university and department’s cultural and educational initiatives aimed at broadening students’ horizons and strengthening their moral values. The students watched the performance “Bayansyz Bakh”, which revolved around family values, respect for parents, and harmony between siblings.
The play left a profound emotional impact on the audience - many students were moved to tears. It inspired them to reflect deeply on the importance of family, love, and mutual respect.
In addition to enjoying the performance, the students explored the theatre building and its museum, gaining a closer connection to the world of performing arts. Their interest in theatre and cultural heritage grew significantly.
Such cultural events play an essential role in students’ spiritual development, expanding their cultural worldview and fostering aesthetic appreciation.
