SDG 4: Student Induction Ceremony at Al-Farabi KazNU

The traditional “Student Induction Ceremony” took place at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. This special event marked not only the beginning of a new academic year but also one of the most memorable moments when the dreams and hopes of the younger generation converged at the threshold of a new stage in life.

The solemn ceremony was attended by Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KazNU Kairat Mami, Chairman of the Board – Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bibigul Zheksenbai, and Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Almaty Jiang Wei.

During the event, Minister Sayasat Nurbek congratulated the students on the start of the new academic year and wished them great success in their studies.

The first-year students, who were admitted to the university this year, came well-prepared for the celebration. Over several weeks, they honed their skills, developed their creativity, and demonstrated true unity and teamwork.

It is worth noting that the new cohort of KazNU students represents not only all regions of Kazakhstan but also several foreign countries. Students from KazNU branches in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic) and Omsk (Russian Federation) took part in the event, showcasing their talents and strengthening the sense of belonging within the KazNU community.

One of the most impressive moments of the evening was the AI-powered literary and educational book composition. Through cutting-edge technology, the voices of Abu Nasr Al-Farabi, Abai Qunanbaiuly, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin, Confucius, and Isaac Newton were brought to life on stage, sharing their timeless wisdom on the value of knowledge and science. This innovative performance deeply inspired the audience, encouraging students to pursue intellectual and spiritual growth.

The evening was filled with creativity, talent, and energy. Every performance, song, and dance reflected the intelligence, artistry, and spirit of KazNU’s youth.

KazNU students have always been distinguished by their thirst for knowledge, ambition, and strong sense of responsibility for the future of the nation. This ceremony became a vivid reflection of those qualities — thousands of young hearts united by one goal, stepping confidently into a new chapter of life.
