Protect Nature — Preserve Your Future
On October 7, 2025, a public event was held in the Botanical Garden with group 203 students on the topic “Protect Nature — Preserve Your Future”, under Sustainable Development Goal No. 15 (Life on Land): pollution. Protecting the environment and combating pollution are vital steps toward ensuring the health and well‑being of every person on earth. One of the questions discussed in the Botanical Garden was the issue raised in President Kassym‑Jomart Tokayev’s Address to the People of Kazakhstan: “Water Resources and Global Competencies.” Water scarcity is not only an economic challenge but also a vital social issue that affects future stability. To address this problem, it is necessary to foster a new ecological culture in society.
The event was organized by S. M. Zhapakov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Customs, Finance, and Environmental Law, and by G. A. Kuanalieva, Head of Department, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor.
