On October 15 at 6:30 p.m., an informative and exciting event was held with students at Dormitory No. 16 of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, dedicated to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 2 - “Zero Hunger” and No. 6 - “Clean Water and Sanitation”.
The event was attended by second-year students of the English group of the EP “Economics” and first-year students of the Kazakh group of the EP “Digital Economy”. Najia Salihi and Mahdi Hissaini, second-year students from Afghanistan, gave presentations.
During the meeting, students discussed current issues of food security, nutrition, and access to clean water. Participants emphasized the importance of responsible use of natural resources and the personal contribution of each individual to achieving sustainable development goals.
The event contributed to the formation of an ecological culture, expanding students' knowledge of global UN initiatives, and strengthening the values of sustainable development.
