Partnership for Science: Meeting of the History Faculty Teaching Staff with UrFU Representatives

A key meeting was held at the History Faculty between the Professor-Teaching Staff (PTS) and representatives of the leadership of the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin (UrFU). This event is a clear illustration of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 17: Partnerships for the Goals, emphasizing the importance of inter-structural cooperation to achieve common scientific and educational objectives.

The meeting was attended by:

• Alexander Sergeevich Palkin — Director of the Department "History Faculty" of UrFU.

• Yulia Vladimirovna Zapariy — Head of the Department of Scientific and Innovation Work of UrFU.

Key Discussion Points

During the constructive dialogue, crucial issues concerning the strengthening of the faculty's capacity, the stimulation of scientific activity, and the integration of innovation into the educational process were addressed. Particular attention was paid to:

• Activating scientific research projects within the faculty.

• Supporting young scientists and their involvement in grant activities.

• Increasing the publication activity of the PTS in leading scientific journals.

• Developing joint educational programs and network projects, which directly align with SDG 17 tasks to encourage and develop effective partnerships between different sectors and organizations.

The meeting represented an important step in establishing a closer and more coordinated interaction between the PTS and the university leadership, aimed at improving the quality of historical education and research, as well as the sustainable development of the entire scientific community.
