SDG-4: Students watched the play «Mama» at the Gabit Musrepov Theatre

Students from the Faculties of Philology, Chemistry and Chemical Technology, and the Physics and Technical Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University watched the outstanding drama performance “Mama” on October 12, 2025, with the aim of increasing their interest in theatrical art and fostering spiritual and aesthetic development.

This cultural event allowed students to broaden their cultural knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of the world of literature and art. «Mama» is a production that deeply explores the delicate relationships within a family and human values, telling a touching and truthful story that resonates in the hearts of the audience. The themes of the play — love, respect, responsibility, and overcoming life’s challenges — encouraged students to reflect and enriched their spiritual world.

The mastery of the actors’ performances made a strong impression on the students and once again confirmed the importance of theatre. This experience not only strengthened their love for the arts but also contributed to a better understanding of social and humanitarian issues.

Students and faculty members of the Philology Department highly appreciated the educational and enlightening role of theatre and emphasized the necessity of regularly organizing such cultural events. Attending theatre performances plays a significant role in the spiritual development of young people, the formation of moral qualities, and the unfolding of creative potential.
