SDG-4: Theatre — The Mirror of Life

On October 18, 2025, students from the Faculties of Medicine and Healthcare, as well as Geography and Environmental Management at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specially visited the Gabit Musrepov Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth with the aim of enriching their cultural and spiritual values and expanding their interest in the arts. There, they watched the outstanding Kazakh drama performance «One Apple Tree».

This performance holds a special place as an artistic work that deeply explores important contemporary societal themes such as moral values and the significance of nature. During the play, students appreciated the director’s decisions, the masterful acting, and the stagecraft techniques that demonstrated a high level of creative skill.

The main theme of the performance is the connection between nature and humans, ecological issues, and the importance of family. These topics help young people better understand modern social and environmental problems and increase their sense of responsibility. The play made a profound impression on the audience, sparking valuable discussions and exchanges of opinions among the students.

The organization of this event was recognized as an important step in enhancing the cultural level of students and developing their social activity.
