The Department of Far Eastern Studies, Korean Studies Section, held a roundtable discussion “Unity and Peace – the Pillars of Independent Kazakhstan”

On October 20, 2025, the Department of Far Eastern Studies, Korean Studies Section, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a roundtable discussion titled “Unity and Peace – the Pillars of Independent Kazakhstan”, dedicated to the national holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The aim of the event was to foster students’ sense of patriotism, raise awareness of the importance of independence, unity, and peace, and to encourage interest in the nation’s history and cultural heritage.

Faculty members and students took part in the discussion, sharing their thoughts on Kazakhstan’s achievements since gaining independence, the role of youth in strengthening national identity, and the enduring values of harmony and solidarity in society.

The roundtable helped strengthen students’ civic awareness and promoted the core values of independent Kazakhstan — unity and peace.
