October 25 is a significant and proud holiday for our country

At the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology held a curatorial hour dedicated to Republic Day. The event was organized by the 2nd-year curators-advisors of the “Hydrology” educational program, D.D. Arystambekova, M.S. Ospanova and T.M. Kazakbayeva. During the event, quiz questions and an educational game were held, focusing on the historical stages and important dates since the Republic of Kazakhstan gained independence. Students showed great activity and interest in the history of their country.

Republic Day is a symbol of the sovereignty and independence of our state, as well as of national unity, solidarity, and spirit. This holiday marks the beginning of the country’s development and stands as a testament to its freedom. During the event, students discussed the historical significance and importance of Republic Day, shared their thoughts on Kazakhstan’s achievements, and expressed confidence in the country’s bright future.
