Poetry Competition devoted to the day of Republic and 30-th anniversary of FIR

The Faculty of International Relations at Al-Farabi KazNU held its annual Recitation competition, dedicated to The Republic Day and The 30th anniversary of the Faculty of International Relations.

Traditionally the contest was started with the well known poem of the great Soviet poet Rasul Gamzatov “ Where are you from, Youth?” and finished with the poem of Muqagali Maqatayev “ Zhastyq”.

During the event, kazakstani  and iforeign students paid tribute to the works of great Kazakh poets Mukagali Makatayev and Muhtar Shahanov, performing not only poems of poets, but also their own poems in their native languages ​​before teachers and students of the faculty.

Following the traditional conclusion, all participants were presented with gidts and certificates of honor, and gratitude was expressed to those present for their support.

The Faculty of International Relations honors the memory of significant and great figures in our country who have left an indelible mark on culture, and expresses confidence that such events are beneficial for the comprehensive development and education of our students.
