The open-air "AI-Art: The Future in colors" was held at KazNU

In honor of the Republic Day, the al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a creative plein air – "AI-Art: The Future in colors".

The main purpose of the event is to show the harmony of modern technologies and traditional art, to depict the future and development of KazNU in the era of artificial intelligence through artistic images, as well as to organize a competition among students to create drawings using AI technologies. In addition, the plein air is aimed at popularizing the use of artificial intelligence in the creative field, developing digital thinking and visual expression of students, as well as increasing the innovative potential of the university's youth.

A large-scale event was held on the site in front of the Farabi Library on the university campus. The open–air plein-air was attended by members of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan - Malik Kaidarov, Kurmangazy Akashev, Ernat Imanbakiev, Nurbolat Talgatuly, Aidos Seydakul, Malik Zhumagulov, Baktiyar Burkitbayev, Tulegen Suleimenov, Serik Tainov, Nurlan Satayev, Serik Agatayev, Akmaral Kazhybek, Perizat Tainova, Turgyn Abdurakhman and other famous brush masters.

An AI drawing contest was also held among students of the Faculties of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence and Journalism.

The work of the plein–air was attended by Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev, who wished the participants creative success. In his speech, he noted that such initiatives contribute to the development of the artistic potential of talented university youth.

"The main theme proposed to today's artists is to show the beauty of the KazNU University campus. Among the artists participating in the plein-air are Daryn award winners, winners of international and national competitions. At the end of the plein–air, we will hand over 30 oil-painted works to the university",- said Tokkozha Kozhagulov, a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
