Head of the Almaty City Department of Justice Balaim Kesebaeva familiarized herself with the activities of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Student Law Clinic

     On October 23, 2025, within the framework of SDG-17, the Head of the Almaty City Department of Justice, Balaim Kesebaeva, paid a working visit to the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and got acquainted with the activities of the Student Law Clinic.

   The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Doctor of Law, Professor G.A. Kuanaliyeva, Deputy Head for Scientific, Innovative and International Affairs PhD G.K. Rasheva, Deputy Head for Academic and Educational Work A.A. Yesekeyeva, as well as department members and students.

     During the meeting, Balaim Kesebaeva learned about the main areas of the clinic’s activities, the students’ experience in providing free legal aid to citizens, and the process of developing their practical skills.

     She also engaged in an open discussion with students and lecturers, emphasizing the importance of enhancing legal culture and preparing young lawyers for professional practice.

     At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation aimed at expanding students’ professional experience and promoting legal awareness among the public.
