A Republican Scientific and Practical Conference Dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the Faculty of Law at Al-Farabi KazNU Was Held

On October 17, 2025, a Republican scientific and practical conference on “Doctrines, Schools, and Concepts of Sustainable Development of Legal Science in Modern Conditions” was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Faculty of Law.

The event was organized by the Department of Customs, Financial, and Environmental Law of the Faculty of Law. The conference was coordinated by Doctor of Law, Professor G.A. Kuanaliyeva, together with the department’s faculty members.

The main goal of the conference was to discuss trends in the development of modern legal science, its theoretical concepts, and scientific schools, as well as to strengthen the connection between academic research and practical application.

Leading scholars from across Kazakhstan, faculty members of higher education institutions, doctoral and master’s students, and experienced legal practitioners participated in the conference. During the sessions, current issues in various branches of law were thoroughly examined, and modern scientific approaches and doctrinal directions were analyzed.

As a result of the conference, scientific recommendations and conclusions were compiled, and ideas and initiatives were proposed to provide significant impetus for the further development of legal science and to strengthen its role in modern society.
