Head of the Justice Department of Almaty Balaiym Kesebaeva Familiarized Herself with the Activities of Al-Farabi KazNU Student Legal Clinic

On October 23, 2025, the Head of the Justice Department of Almaty, Balaiym Kesebaeva, paid a working visit to the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and familiarized herself with the activities of the student legal clinic.

During the meeting, Balaiym Kesebaeva learned about the clinic’s areas of work, students’ experience in providing free legal assistance to citizens, and the process of developing practical skills. She also engaged in informal discussions with students and faculty, highlighting the importance of promoting legal culture and preparing young lawyers for professional practice.

The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Customs, Financial, and Environmental Law, Doctor of Law, Professor G.A. Kuanalieva; Deputy Head for Scientific, Innovative, and International Affairs, PhD G.K. Rasheva; Deputy for Educational and Methodological Work and Student Affairs A.A. Esekeeva; as well as faculty members and students of the department.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue strengthening cooperation, expanding students’ professional practice, and conducting joint initiatives to enhance legal literacy.
