«Law Faculty Students’ Visit to the D.A. Kunayev House-Museum»
On October 18, 2025, students of Group 116 from the Faculty of Law visited the Dinmukhamed Akhmedovich Kunaev House-Museum in Almaty. The event was organized by Dr. D.M. Baymakhanova, a professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) initiative.
The excursion aimed to broaden the students’ historical and legal knowledge, foster patriotic awareness, and promote respect for the outstanding figures of Kazakhstan. During the visit, students learned about the life and state activities of Dinmukhamed Akhmedovich Kunaev, who made an immense contribution to the development of Kazakhstan. The tour was conducted by Zhanneta Serikbayeva, who provided a detailed overview of the personal belongings, documents, photographs, and awards displayed in the house-museum. She also highlighted the key stages of Kunaev’s biography and his significant role in the political and social life of the country, emphasizing the importance of his legacy for the younger generation.
Students listened attentively to the guide’s explanations and actively participated in the discussion, showing great interest in the historical materials and the life of this prominent statesman. The event allowed the students not only to enrich their knowledge of Kazakhstan’s history but also to gain a deeper appreciation for the preservation of the nation’s cultural and spiritual heritage. At the end of the visit, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the museum staff for organizing the excursion and noted that such events help cultivate respect for history and a sense of patriotism among young people.
