"Language is The Well-Being of the People"
On September 20, 2025, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goal "Quality Education," an event on the topic: "Language is The Well-Being of the People" was held. It was organized by the first-year students majoring in "Digital Archiving and Records Management" under the guidance of senior lecturer L.A. Tursalieva.
Language is the well-being of a nation; it fosters the unification and cohesion of nations. Language is a means of education and the foundation that binds human relationships. Language Day is a sign of friendship, kinship, and unity among all citizens of Kazakhstan, and friendship among peoples, mutual understanding, and cooperation are the main pillars of state building. The holiday was established in independent Kazakhstan in 1998 and was initially celebrated on the third Sunday of September. The date was changed in 2017, coinciding with the birthday of the eminent educator Akhmet Baitursynov. Today, September 5th is designated as the holiday.
The Day of Languages of the Peoples of Kazakhstan is very important for the citizens of our country because it allows us to appreciate the cultural diversity and originality of each ethnic group living in the country. The native language of each people is its heritage and value. Language is the bridge through which the spiritual heritage of a people is passed down from generation to generation.
