On October 28, 2025, G.A. Tairova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation together with the students of philological faculty held the event on the topic: "How to help the environment" within the framework of SDG 12 "Responsible consumption and production" in Dormitory No. 17. The event aimed at developing the students' understanding of the principles of responsible consumption and production within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), developing environmental and social thinking, and engaging young people in the practical application of sustainable development ideas. The lecturer introduced SDG 12: "Responsible Consumption and Production," and discussed the importance of rational use of resources, waste reduction, and environmental stewardship. The students then discussed this topic and gave examples of successful initiatives in this area (at the corporate, city, and individual level). They also discussed and presented the various methods of responsible consumption, recycling, and waste sorting. In an open discussion format, the participants shared their thoughts on what steps everyone can take to promote responsible consumption in their everyday lives. They expanded their knowledge of SDG 12 and related environmental and social issues.
