Faculty Members of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Criminology Held the “Legal Dictation” as Part of a National Campaign

  On October 30, 2025, as part of the national campaign “Legal Dictation,” faculty members of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Criminology of the Faculty of Law at al-Farabi Kazakh National University conducted legal dictations across various university faculties. The event was implemented in support of UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 – “Quality Education”, aimed at ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all.

   The event was organized in accordance with the instruction of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 20, 2025. Its main goal was to enhance students’ legal awareness, strengthen respect for the rule of law, and promote legal culture among youth.

The dictations were conducted by:
    •    Assoc. Prof. Orinbasar Nusupaliuly Tlepbergenov, PhD in Law – Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics (30.10.2025, 11:00–11:50, Kazakh group);

    •    Assoc. Prof. Assel Bostanovna Sharipova, PhD in Law – Higher School of Economics and Business (30.10.2025, 12:00–12:50, Russian group);

    •    Prof. Gulzagira Makhatovna Atakhanova, PhD in Law – Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology (30.10.2025, 11:00–11:50, Kazakh group);

    •    Senior Lecturer Batyrbek Abenovich Shopabayev – Faculty of Physics and Technology (30.10.2025, 13:00–13:50).

The “Legal Dictation” served as an important step in fostering students’ understanding of the role of law in society, encouraging civic responsibility, and strengthening their commitment to the rule of law.
