KazNU teacher included in the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve in 2025

Kamilla Abdildina, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, has been enrolled in the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve in 2025 in the field of Agroindustrial Complex and Environmental Protection.

Camilla Abdildina is 29 years old. She was born on April 21, 1996 in Taraz, Zhambyl region. She graduated from gymnasium №1 with the silver medal "Altyn belgi". She received a bachelor's degree in Chemical Technology of Organic Substances and a Master's degree in Petrochemistry from the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, jointly with the University of Valencia. In 2017, she became the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship, which was an important step towards an academic career. Later, Camilla defended her doctoral thesis (PhD) in the same field – petrochemistry.

Abdildina's professional career is full of international experience. She completed research internships in Spain (University of Valencia), Turkey (Gazi University) and the United Kingdom (University of Westminster), which enriched her scientific background and methodological base. Since 2018, she has worked at the Center for the Promotion of Sustainable Development, where she participated in the implementation of projects aimed at environmental protection and sustainable development. Since 2020, Camilla has continued her research and teaching activities at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The merits of the young scientist were noted at the state level: in 2025, on behalf of the Head of State, she received housing in Almaty. In addition to her professional achievements, Camilla is a mother of four children, which gives her additional motivation to grow and achieve heights in her career.

The Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve is formed to select and promote talented young professionals who are ready to innovate, develop research projects and contribute to the strategic development of the country. The inclusion of Kamilla Abdildina in the reserve confirms the high level of training and active scientific and innovative development of KazNU.
