Professional Development Courses on Forensic Expertise within the Framework of UN SDG 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth”
As part of the implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goal 8 – “Decent Work and Economic Growth”, Gulnaz Tursunovna Alayeva, Candidate of Legal Sciences and licensed forensic expert, lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, has developed professional development courses for forensic experts.
The program titled “Modern Aspects of Forensic Expertise: Theory, Methodology and Practice” was designed in coordination with the Republican Chamber of Forensic Experts and conducted at the training center of “Paritet” Expertise and Evaluation Center LLP.
Master’s students of Al-Farabi KazNU enrolled in “7M04224 – Forensic Examination” and “7M04220 – Criminalistic Expertise” programs were invited to participate as trainees.
The courses were conducted by leading lecturers in the field of forensic activity and covered relevant issues of contemporary forensic practice. The program included analysis of the work of licensed forensic experts and state forensic institutions, providing students with a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and develop professional competencies in forensic and criminalistic expertise.
“Such programs strengthen the connection between science and practice and enhance the quality of training for future professionals in the field of forensic expertise.
