As part of the implementation of the 4 UN Sustainable Development Goals «Quality Education in Action», Kuanysh Aratuly PhD, Acting Professor of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, conducted practical criminology classes at the «Dolan» Specialized Training Center RK for students of the Law Enforcement education program.

In the frame of the study of the discipline «Criminalistics», students got acquainted with the basics of ballistics, studied the devices, mechanisms and principles of operation of various types of firearms, and also practically worked out the skills of safe handling and shooting. Ballistics, as a science, studies the patterns of movement of projectiles and bullets, their interaction with various surfaces, and the consequences of weapon use, allowing forensic experts to accurately reconstruct crime events. Students learned to analyze the trajectory of shots, determine shooting distance and direction, and identify the type of weapon based on surface marks, which significantly enhances their professional skills.

"Such classes help Law Enforcement students not only consolidate the theoretical knowledge gained at KazNU, but also develop the professional competencies necessary for future work in the field of law and order," Kuanysh Aratuly said.

The activities of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics of the Faculty of Law are aimed at developing a high level of professionalism and willingness to work in modern conditions and labor requirements among Law Enforcement students.
