📣 Participation of the “Shapagat” Club and the Department in the National Campaign “Halyk Zanǵeri”!

On October 31, 2025, the city of Almaty hosted the annual republican social campaign “Halyk Zanǵeri” — a large-scale project aimed at enhancing citizens’ legal literacy and strengthening the principles of Law and Order.
📍 The event took place at the Palace of Schoolchildren (Dostyk Avenue, 124).

🤝 Members of the “Shapagat” Student Volunteer Club and the faculty of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Criminology of the Faculty of Law at Al-Farabi KazNU took an active part in the event.

🔹 During the campaign, Almaty residents received free legal consultations from representatives of law enforcement and government agencies, as well as from lawyers, advocates, notaries, judicial officers, and private sector specialists.

🎯 The participation of the department and “Shapagat” volunteers made a valuable contribution to the development of legal culture and to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal No. 16 – “Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions,” strengthening the link between academia, practice, and society.
