Academic Partnership for Sustainable Development: Al-Farabi KazNU and Mirzo Ulugbek NUU
The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), in line with the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, successfully hosted a short-term internship for faculty members of the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan (NUU).
From October 28 to 30, 2025, KazNU welcomed NUU lecturers: Z.B. Rahmonkulova, R.R. Duschanov, and G.Sh. Shaydullaeva. The internship, organized with the participation of the Department of World History, Historiography, and Source Studies, focused on the goal of exchanging experience in educational, methodological, and scientific work.

Both parties discussed current educational issues and exchanged information on best practices. KazNU confirmed its readiness to host the colleagues and expressed confidence that the event will serve to further strengthen academic ties and expand mutually beneficial cooperation between the two leading universities.
