«Kanysh Satpayev-Lighthouse of Kazakh science»

On November 4, 2025, students of Group 205 of the educational program "jurisprudence", organized by Associate Professor, candidate of Law, head of the Discussion Club "El Tutka" Tlepbergenov Orynbasar, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, visited the monument to Kanysh Satbayev and got acquainted with his biography.

We specially visited the monument to the great personality of the nation, scientist, geologist, academician Kanysh Imantayevich Satbayev and got acquainted with his life path. This trip made a great impression on us and increased our interest in science.

Kanysh Satbayev is the pride of the Kazakh people, a unique person who has risen to the heights of Science and education. He laid the foundation for geological research in Kazakhstan and made a great contribution to the discovery of such large deposits as Zhezkazgan and Balkhash. The scientist's work was directed not only in the field of science, but also to the economic and cultural development of the country.

At the moment of visiting the monument, we remembered the life and work of the scientist, admired his human qualities and merits to the country. The monument is a symbol of respect for the Great children of the nation, an example for future generations.

Such trips form in the younger generation a sense of patriotism, a spirit of respect for science and work. We realized that we should follow the example of Kanysh Satpayev's life and strive to become an educated, hardworking citizen who will benefit the country.
