International cooperation in the fight against corruption
On November 4, 2025, Madina Erlanovna Toktarbekova, a lecturer in the Department of International Law, held a career guidance meeting and, as part of SDG 16, an open lecture on "International Cooperation in the Fight against Corruption" at the Almaty Law College for third-year students majoring in Jurisprudence.
The lecture covered the following topics:
country cooperation in combating corruption;
the role of international organizations in the fight against corruption;
the activities of Transparency International.
The students showed great interest in the topic, actively participated in the discussion, answered the lecturer's questions, and asked their own, including about admission to the International Law program.
The event concluded with conclusions on the importance of international cooperation between states in combating corruption and the need to train qualified specialists in this field.
